MITO, WINES OF GREAT QUALITY AND EXPRESSION

Seeking to express all his experience and knowledge in the production of New World wines, Mancura creates the Guardian line, a portfolio of wines with high-quality grapes made with heritage varieties.

Viña Mancura seeks to preserve the wine heritage of Chile, and this is how, through its wines, it pays homage to the roots, traditions, and origins of our country. In this way, the vineyard is concerned with producing high-quality wines at an affordable price, which reflect our country and its nature. Wines that reach consumers who want to deliver a better world to future generations.
One of its main lines, Mito, is focused on delivering the highest quality wines from the valleys of Casablanca – a prestigious Chilean terroir for white and red varieties -, Maipo – a valley acclaimed for its high-quality reds resulting from its climate Mediterranean, thermal amplitude, and rocky soils-, and Maule- cradle of national viticulture, recognized for its ancestral strains, centuries-old vines, and high-quality grapes.

Its portfolio is made up of 4 wines. The Cabernet Sauvignon, from the El Puntual field in the Maipo Valley, is a red wine with a deep cherry color, with notes of red and black fruits, with hints of black and white pepper. In the mouth, it is a juicy wine, with good density and long tannins.

Carmenère comes from the Maule Valley and benefits from the area’s sub-humid temperate Mediterranean climate, which gives it concentration, volume, and silky, enveloping tannins. It is a well-balanced wine between fruit and wood, with light smoky notes.
For its part, the Chardonnay/Viognier blend from the Casablanca Valley is fresh, elegant and with a pleasant and suggestive acidity. It has sweet and powerful notes at the same time, as well as citrus and mineral notes, typical of its terroir.

The Pinot Noir, from the Lo Ovalle sector, one of the freshest sectors of the Casablanca Valley, is a juicy, expressive wine with a good structure and soft tannins. On the nose it has aromas of murta -a Chilean fruit-, peaches, and strawberries with soft herbaceous touches. It is a beautiful and brilliant ruby red color.

In this way, the Mito de Mancura line proposes a wide profile of wines, capable of showing the great diversity and quality present in some of the main valleys of Chile.
