Vuelo Mágico, Andino and Guardian, were the most awarded wine lines nationally and internationally during this 2022.
Viña Mancura’s wine portfolio ends this 2022 with truly outstanding scores. And it is that the vineyard, which with its name pays homage to the mythological character of the condor in the Andes Mountain, demonstrated this year, once again, all its expertise and knowledge in the production of New World wines, with harvests that are a faithful reflection of the different terroirs found throughout Chile.
One of the most awarded lines was Guardian, which with its wines seeks to pay homage to the national heritage, with exceptional quality and affordable price. Guardian Carignan 2018, obtained 90 points from the national specialized magazine La Cav. The 2019 vintage, 91 points from the North American critic James Suckling and the 2020 vintage, 90 points from Descorchados, the renowned national guide. The Pinot Noir 2020 variety received 91 points from La Cav and the Cinsault 2021 version, 90 points from Descorchados.
Another line that also stood out was Vuelo Mágico, which at the national level obtained 93 points from Descorchados, its 2017 vintage, and internationally, it was highlighted by Tim Atkin with 91 points and Vinous with 90 points, its 2018 vintage.
Andino 2019, for its part, the red blend that brings together the varieties of the most important valleys of Chile, such as Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, was recognized with 92 points by the Descorchados national guide and with 90 points by the media. internationals Tim Atkin and Vinous. The white variety, made up of Chardonnay and Viogner, was awarded 91 points in the specialized magazine La Cav.
Mito Carmenère 2019 also stood out in Descorchados with 90 points in addition to being part of the Carmenère Super Price Ranking. Internationally, James Suckling highlighted it with 90 points, as did Mito Cabernet Sauvignon 2018.
