Leyenda, a tribute to the Andes Mountain

This Viña Mancura line seeks to deliver blends of the highest quality from vineyards located at the foot of the Andes Mountain range. They are deep, structured and intense wines.

Viña Mancura seeks to preserve the wine heritage of Chile, and this is how, through its wines, it pays homage to the roots, traditions and origins of our country. Its name, Mancura, pays tribute to the mythological character of the condor in the Andes Mountain, who, according to legend, appears in the heights of the mountains bringing with him the sun and the freshness of the sea, which allows one of the best conditions in the world to produce wines.

Following this legend, the winery is concerned with producing high quality wines at an affordable price, which reflect our country and its nature. Wines that reach consumers who want to deliver a better world to future generations.

This is how its Leyenda line was born, focused on delivering blends of the highest quality from the valleys of Casablanca– prestigious Chilean terroir for white and red varieties-, and Maule– cradle of national viticulture, recognized for its ancestral and centenarians vines and high quality grapes.

Its portfolio is made up of 2 wines. A Red Blend, from the Maule Valley, made up of Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvedre, Merlot, Carignan and Pinot Noir. It is an intense cherry red wine with bright ruby rims. On the nose, it is intense, with notes of red and black fruits, such as raspberries, currants, and plums, which are intertwined with notes of tobacco and hints of pepper.

On the palate, it is smooth and velvety, with juicy acidity and fine-grained tannins. It has a aging potential of 10 years and is recommended to accompany well-seasoned red meats.

The second wine is a Syrah-Cabernet Franc-Merlot from the Casablanca Valley. It is a deep and bright wine, with a striking red color with violet reflections. It has aromas of red fruits, which are combined with subtle hints of pink petals and black currant. On the palate, it is complex, structured and at the same time fresh and elegant. It has hints of mocha, dark chocolate and cinnamon. Its finish is pleasant and has a long persistence. Its aging potential is 10 years.
