Viña Mancura Presents a New Image

Mancura renews its labels with a modern and contemporary look, aiming to become a benchmark in responsible environmental practices. This transformation not only reflects a current aesthetic but also underscores Mancura’s commitment to leading and actively communicating its plans to eliminate historical CO₂ emissions from the air.

In its pursuit to be a reference in responsible environmental practices, Mancura presents the launch of its new image. This brand renewal reflects a more contemporary feel and is perfectly aligned with the pillars of sustainability that define the brand. Through this transformation, Mancura positions itself as a leading figure in the wine industry, taking a proactive role in reducing CO₂ emissions and eliminating 10% of Morandé Wine Group’s historical CO₂ emissions from the air.

A Modern and Sustainable Image

Mancura’s new visual identity has been designed to highlight contemporary aesthetic values, with a focus on colors and textures that evoke modernity and freshness. The label redesign not only aims to capture the attention of today’s consumers but also conveys the winery’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

Thus, Mancura’s new labels feature a color palette and textures that add depth. Earth and gold tones, along with green and blue hues, evoke a connection with nature and a commitment to sustainable winemaking practices, while illustrations emphasize Mancura’s dedication to circularity, integrating visual elements that reflect the brand’s continuous cycle of sustainability. These features aim to tell a story of respect and harmony with the environment.

Commitment to the Future

Additionally, Mancura’s new image informs about the agreement signed between Morandé Wine Group and the Swiss company Climeworks, a pioneer in carbon capture technology, to eliminate 10% of MWG’s historical CO₂ emissions from the air within six years. This collaboration uses Climeworks’ innovative technology to directly tackle the challenge of climate change, highlighting MWG’s proactive vision toward a sustainable future.

Climeworks specializes in developing and operating systems that capture carbon dioxide (CO₂) directly from the air, using special filters that absorb the gas and then concentrate it for safe and permanent geological storage, thus contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and combating climate change.

The alliance between Morandé Wine Group, through Mancura, and Climeworks will enable the winery to eliminate 10% of its historical CO₂ emissions, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability. This initiative is complemented by the goal of reducing emissions by 5% annually and adopting sustainable practices to achieve a carbon-neutral future.

This collaboration – a pioneering initiative in the winemaking world – not only aims at the active removal of CO₂ but also sets a new standard for the industry by integrating innovative technologies and sustainable practices. By leading this forward-thinking approach, MWG demonstrates its environmental commitment and its ability to drive significant change in preserving the environment within the global wine sector.
